Q is for Quality facial hair

Beards are everywhere. The hipster movement has taken the world by storm and Trick of the Light theatre company are right on trend with their production of Beards! Beards! Beards! at Assembly Roxy. 

Growing up with two barbers for fathers, Beatrix doesn’t want a tiara, or sparkly sunglasses, or a teddy bear which squeaks… She wants to grow a beard, a magnificent mighty beard. As she meets the patron saint of female beards, she travels back in time to meet the influential, wise men in history who could rock a strong beard to try and get some inspiration for her mission.  Shakespeare, Lincoln and Darwin all feature as songs and antics ensue as Beatrix 

A light hearted beard mania production is welcome relief after an afternoon of rain, and facial hair fans are sure to be won over by the chipper and welcoming barber shop duet and their spirited daughter.
